Futsal Activity Rules

Title I - Object

  1. These rules govern the organisation, practice and promotion of futsal within the ASBL “Le Comité Kurde” (LCK). The ASBL undertakes to comply with the statutory and regulatory provisions of the L.F.F.S. and of the A.B.F.S.

Title II - Registration and participation

  1. Any person wishing to participate in futsal activities must be an effective member or an adherent member of the ASBL.

  2. Registration is validated upon:

    • payment of the annual membership fee;
    • payment of the specific futsal contribution (if applicable);
    • submission of the signed registration form.
  3. Minors must provide parental authorisation.

  4. There is no minimum age to participate in futsal activities. Minors must, however, be accompanied by a legal guardian or have parental authorisation.

  5. A medical certificate of no contraindication to the practice of futsal may be required.

Title III - Membership fees and costs

  1. The amount of membership fees is set annually by the Board of Directors.

  2. Hall rental, refereeing and equipment costs are borne by the ASBL.

Title IV - Schedule and locations

  1. Training and match schedules are set by the activity manager and communicated at least one week in advance.

  2. Sessions are held in the sports facilities reserved by the ASBL.

  3. In the event of an exceptional change, participants are informed by electronic means.

Title V - Programme and conduct of the activity

  1. Matches are played according to the official FIFA rules for futsal, adapted to local conditions.

  2. Team composition:

    • 5 players per team (1 goalkeeper + 4 outfield players);
  3. Match duration:

    • 2 x 20 minutes (10-minute time-out between halves);
    • additional breaks in case of heat.
  4. Fouls and unsporting behaviour are sanctioned according to the table of sanctions provided in article 22.

Title VI - Equipment

  1. Players must wear appropriate sports clothing and futsal socks, provided by the ASBL.

    Clothing provided by the ASBL is washed by each participant and must be returned in good condition. In the event of damage or non-return, an amount defined by the Board of Directors must be paid to purchase new clothing.

  2. Indoor (non-marking) shoes are mandatory.

  3. Shin guards are strongly recommended.

  4. The goalkeeper’s bib is provided by the ASBL.

  5. Any dangerous object (jewellery, watches, etc.) must be removed before the match.

Title VII - Discipline and sanctions

  1. Every participant must adopt sporting and respectful behaviour towards other players, the referee and spectators.

  2. Graduated sanctions:

    • oral warning;
    • temporary exclusion for the remainder of the session;
    • exclusion for one or more sessions;
    • permanent exclusion from the activity (by decision of the Board of Directors).
  3. Any violent, insulting or discriminatory behaviour automatically results in a summons before the Board of Directors.

  4. Disciplinary decisions may be appealed to the General Assembly.

Title VIII - Liability

  1. Participants practise futsal at their own risk. The ASBL implements reasonable preventive and safety measures but cannot be held liable for bodily injury or material damage occurring during the practice, except in the event of proven fault or negligence on its part or on the part of those acting under it.

  2. Each participant must hold a personal civil liability insurance.

  3. The ASBL takes out civil liability insurance for its activities.

Title IX - Safety and first aid

  1. A first-aid kit is present at every session.

  2. In the event of an accident, first aid is administered and external emergency services are called if necessary.

  3. The contact details of emergency services are displayed at the place of practice.

  4. Any accident must be reported to the activity manager within 24 hours.

Title X - Events and representations

  1. The ASBL may organise internal tournaments or take part in external competitions.

  2. The arrangements for registration and participation in competitions are set by the activity manager.

  3. Players selected for a competition represent the ASBL and undertake to comply with these rules.

Title XI - Data protection and image rights

  1. Matches, training sessions and events may be subject to photographic and video recordings for communication and promotional purposes of the ASBL. Participation in these activities is conditional upon the prior signing of a consent form regarding image rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The withdrawal of consent may be exercised at any time by written notification to the Board of Directors, with no retroactive effect on publications already made in good faith. Images of minors may only be captured and disseminated with the written consent of their legal representative.

Title XII - Ethics and values

  1. The practice of futsal within the ASBL is based on mutual respect, fraternity and self-improvement. The score is secondary to sporting spirit.

  2. By registering, each player undertakes to:

    • Strictly respect the decisions of the referee or session manager, without contestation.
    • Respect their teammates, opponents and the public.
    • Refuse any form of physical or verbal violence, racism, xenophobia or discrimination.
    • Show fairness: not seek to win by cheating or simulation.
  3. Sport being a vehicle for integration, players undertake to facilitate the welcome of new members, regardless of their technical level, and to promote intercultural dialogue on the pitch.

  4. Any serious breach of the fair-play values defined above may give rise to disciplinary proceedings in accordance with Title VII of these rules, even in the absence of a technical foul of play.

Title XIII - Activity managers

  1. An activity manager is designated by the Board of Directors.

  2. The manager:

    • organises the sessions and matches;
    • ensures compliance with these rules;
    • acts as a liaison with the Board of Directors;
    • manages any conflicts.
  3. In the event of absence, the manager designates a replacement.

Title XIV - Amendments to these rules

  1. These rules may be amended by the Board of Directors.

  2. Any amendment is communicated to members within 15 days.
